Localized.Strings is Corrupted with KM 10.2 on macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra

I just updated Keyboard Maestro to 10.2 on my old MacBook Pro running High Sierra. At the completion of the update, a popup notice appeared:

"localized.strings is corrupted."

The only option was dismiss the notice.

Has anyone else seen this in conjunction with Keyboard Maestro or any other app?

I'm on Catalina and didn't experience that.

@peternlewis – ring any bells?

This message appears when Keyboard Maestro cannot read the localized.strings resource in its bundle.

The most common cause of this is translocation security (see: Translocation Problem).

Otherwise it indicates that the Keyboard Maestro application (or embedded Keyboard Maestro Engine) is corrupted.

I lost track of this problem. Something changed during the past month because I just attempted another upgrade to KM 10.2, which went smoothly.

I've done little on my old MacBook Pro other than Restart at least once. That's often a fix to elusive problems. I should have tried it before opening this topic.
