Macro for WoW Doesn't work

Hi, I need some help with a Keyboard Maestro macro I made for WoW on a macbook.

When I press my hot Key (G), the macro spams the key G 5x in a row. It works everywhere outside of WoW. But its like the hotkey is not recognized within WoW? But I’ve seen others post about using it with wow? I’m lauching wow in windowed mode.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you

I have the trial version of WoW. I tested your claim. You are correct, but it was easy to fix by inserting a Pause action between each press. In fact, depending upon what you are binding the G key to, you may need a long pause, like 1.5 seconds. You didn’t say what your G key does, so I can’t tell you what duration the required Pause needs to be. Try 0.1 seconds to start with. Increase it as needed.

From the wiki’s page about the Type a keystroke action:

You should not use this action to simulate a keystroke that is the same as an active Hot Key Trigger.

Read more on the linked page, but a simple solution might be to use an otherwise unused key to trigger your macro.

If you need further help, post your macro in a reply to this thread, as recommended here: Forum [Keyboard Maestro Wiki].
