Macro Inspector

Is it possible to have the macro inspector (command+4) also show the group that a macro is in? I know it can of course be included in multiple smart groups but at least the main group. If it goes beyond that and shows all the smart groups it is in as well that is fine too. I am just trying to select multiple macros from smart groups and make sure they are all in the same group without going through them one by one for cleanup purposes, as things have gotten a little cluttered over the years for me.

I do know you can see that in the top right of the selected macro when you are in a smart group and that the name is clicable which is very nice so I am grateful for that. That is actually how I am trying to clean things up right now without just bulk dragging and dropping everything into a macro group which could cause more problems as I import and exprort groups and have things break on me.

Do you mean "Macro Inspector"? It does show the Group -- when only one macro is selected. It would be difficult show the Groups for multiple selections except, perhaps, when they are all in the same Group already.

:man_facepalming: Come on me! Yes I meant the Macro inspector and thanks for deciphering what I was really asking. I just updated the post and the title. I had been working a lot in the value inspector and trying to understand things about it more and I guess that was on my mind.

That is exactly what I am after, showing that they are in the same group when multiple macros are selected from a Smart Group. That would be a wonderful addition! I would imagine that otherwise that list would be very long and a bit less meaningful since it really wouldn't be their values. So if any values are the same across multiple selected macros then reflect that in the "Macro Inspector"

Done for the next version.
