Macro to delete line

Hello,
I would like to create a ‘delete line’ macro.
The procedure would consist of

  • user mouse left clicks on a line (in my case, tap on trackpad)
  • I would then like to introduce a macro which would: left click (or 4 trackpad taps) 4 times (highlights line), followed by backspace.
    Which action would I use for the left click (or 4 trackpad taps) 4 times ?

I'm not sure this is worth a macro (using another valuable hotkey).
You can delete a line with two keystrokes:
CMD-RightArrow
CMD-Backspace
