Hello,
I recently discovered, thanks to MTRex and Peter how to use actions as mouse clicks.
The single right click is reserved for the context menu.
I would like to make full use of the double and triple right click. I know how to create the corresponding actions in KBM, but how / where can I configure what the mac OSX and individual apps do in response to double and triple right clicks.
thanks very much
I don't think this is possible. The macOS and its apps have to be designed internally to process mouse clicks of any type. I've never seen a System Preference or App Preference that allows you to configure mouse clicks, other than the basics like in the Mouse Preferences:
and the Accessibility Options:
But, one never knows for sure. Perhaps someone has written an app or extension that allows you to assign mouse clicks. You can always do a Google search.
thank you.
I did some research as you suggested.
Quite straightforward with BTT which I have.
I tested it, configuring right click to open chrome (just as a test) and it worked.
What does BTT stand for? Not Brazil time, I assume.
BetterTouchTool
I created a BetterTouchTool function and cannot find anyway to make it work. Hours looking for help, no luck.
Does BetterTouchTool even work with High Sierra?
