I can find an action with the Insert Token option to see a list of KM tokens.
But sometimes I forget where to open and display the list of tokens in KM. Is there a shortcut or macro to do this, preferably without the KM editor being open, just the engine?
Thanks. Thatβs helpful, but what I have in mind is not token definitions but contents of tokens on my system. When, for example, I have an action, such as this one, Iβm able to click on Insert Token and get a list of tokens while I am in the KM Editor. I can then clear out any in the window I donβt want and add any from the list. I then run the macro containing this action and it prints out the contents I have chosen. Just looking for a more streamlined way of doing this.
Oh. I'm sorry for misunderstanding. I think I understand now.
I'm not really sure how much more streamlined it could be. The current interface offered by KM is very powerful. I'm not sure how much of the current interface you want implemented in a new solution. Perhaps if you describe the exact interface that you want, someone might be able to implement it. Here's a simple solution that may work for you, if you enter the following macro into your copy of KM, and add the tokens that you desire...
Both ideas are very good, especially when used together. Just one quibble about the Insert Variable shortcut. Unlike the others it does not present me with a popup list to choose from. It just pastes back all the items in the list that were in my Display List action.
