Making custom hotkeys for StarCraft?

Hello,

As the recent update of StarCraft: Brood War (1.18) supports macOS, there’s no reason for me to use my PC laptop anymore. But here is a problem: ctrl - number keyboard shortcuts aren’t easy ones to use for Mac users due to its keyboard layout. Like other general hotkeys of macOS, I would like to have cmd key work like ctrl key on PC when playing this game. But how?

cmd (or shift) - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or, 0
work as
ctrl - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or, 0
(only when playing StarCraft)

Try the app called Karabiner-Elements, that should do the trick for you, quite easy to set up.
or you could config the control key to be cmd in system configuration.

Not sure how troublesome you´d find it to have to it every time you play and reset when exiting.

But it´s a start :slight_smile:
