This is a limited set of macros for Keyboard Maestro to use with formatting Markdown text. I say limited because it only contains the commands I use use most often but not the full set.
In general the macros copy selected text to the clipboard, wraps the copied text with Markdown commands then pastes it back into your text, as part of this they save and restore the clipboard. The other type of macro just inserts text at the current cursor position or replaces the currently selected text. The latter type do not use the clipboard.
A cheat sheet link is included at the end of the library that points to a github resource.
