Menu bar Macro Palette Position in Tahoe

I don't know if this is just a thing with macOS Tahoe but I have noticed if I quit the Keyboard Maestro engine and launch it again it adds spaces between the main menu bar app for Keyboard Maestro and it's accompanying macro palette icons.

To give this more context I have two macro palette folders showing in the menu bar to the left of the Keyboard Maestro menu bar app / icon. If I quit the Keyboard Maestro engine and launch it again there could be multiple empty spaces inserted between the macro palettes and the KM app and I have to go to control center and edit to drag them back.

Unsure if this can be fixed but on my MacBook Pro it's moving 1 or both of the macro palette icons off screen / behind notch.

Any ideas how to fix this?

This has also been happening to me since installing Tahoe, and it’s still happening on 26.1.

Wow, you are right. I wasn't paying attention to those spaces at the top of my screen. It's about one (or more) inch(es) of unwanted space every time I restart the KM Engine. Here's what it looks like after a couple of Engine restarts:

The extra space seems to occur directly to the right of some (not all) of my macro group icons with a custom icon. In my case, the icon labelled T4 does not have spaces to the right, while three other icons do have an inch of space each. I can't see any difference between them in my group settings.

I'm not sure if it's macOS at fault, or the KM Engine.

I’ve found that restarting the KM Engine doesn’t fix it - only restarting the Control Centre fixes it.

Keyboard Maestro does not control where on the menu bar its status menus are positioned so this is an issue for Apple to resolve I'm afraid.

I think you can drag them around.

Yes, CMD-Click does allow me to fix the spacing issue. Thanks.
