I'd like to have Clipboard History Switcher available by clicking an icon in the menubar. Is there any way to do that? I'm not very experienced with KM, so I may be overlooking something.
You can use the KM Status Icon.
First add "Status Menu" trigger to the macro:
If you really want to have a dedicated Menu Bar Menu/Icon dedicated for this, then you will have to use of the Menu bar utilities. A google search should turn up some choices.
Thanks. That looks like it could work, but I haven’t been able to get the "status menu selected" to show up in the “or by” list. As far as I can see, the status menu can only show up as an action to a macro, and if I’m doing that then I might as well just
invoke Activate Clipboard History directly with its own keystroke. I think that’s what I’ll have to do. I also don’t see any way to get the icon for the status menu into the menu bar.
Thanks for your efforts. —Jim

It's not in that list. It's in the list of all triggers:
@JMichaelTX how did you group your item in submenus? I have a long list of macros, but can't seem to be able to group them like you did. Could you put Macro groups automatically in submenu, that would be even better. Thanks!
@JMichaelTX I give up on using KM for this. I was using Jumpcut, a much simpler clipboard history app that sits
in the menubar and needs only to be clicked. I was looking at KM as a substitute because Jumpcut had stopped working in the way I was used to. Someone explained to me how I could still get Jumpcut to work with one extra click, so now I’ll be using it instead
of KM, which I find more complicated for this purpose.
Thanks for our help. —Jim

Goto KM Editor Preferences > General. It's an option there.
