Mission control : shell command

I might have the terminology incorrect but i would like to toggle a mission control option via a shell script. I am sure applescript is possible but i would like the option to toggle discreetly (minimal/no screen activity) .

The option I want to toggle is : When switching to an application, switch to a Space with open windows for the application.

Hey @rivet,

Unless the pref for that is available in thedefaults system, you've not going to find a means to discretely change the setting.

If you can find such a setting please post it here.

Otherwise you're stuck with obtrusive UI-Scripting.
