Move Application to current desktop

Hello all,

Im on macOS and use multiple monitors and desktops. I have several apps I use regularly every day. I am also constantly switching desktops via key commands depending on what im working on. Very often an app I need to use is not on the current desktop im working on so then I switch to the app and that takes me to another desktop. Then I have to go to that desktop and move it to the desktop I need it on ( if that makes sense).

Doing this many times a day chews up a lot of time so Im trying to figure out how to do the following via hotkey:

If an app that I want to move to the current desktop is not running - launch it

If an app that I want to move to the current desktop is running, select it and move it to the current desktop.

(Add on) double click the same hotkey and quit the app

I have key commands for launching and quitting the apps but Im not sure how to incorporate the moves to the current desktop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks!

Hi, @Zion. The following set of macros includes that capability:

Desktop Spaces • Macros to Improve Navigation and Window Management

If you have any questions about the set-up or features, please include them in that thread.

Thanks jims checking this out now...appreciate the info!
