Never Mind. Dan the Macro Master is Human

@peternlewis Peter - I have some macros which the Keyboard Maestro Engine refuses to find, when I use “do script”. I’m calling it with a UUID, but calling it with the name doesn’t work either. However, if I move the macro to another group, then it gets executed just fine.

Any recommendation on how to fix this? The macro UID is not duplicated. I know because I scanned the source plist file.

I don’t mind using a workaround until this gets fixed - I just need one!

Never mind. I am a total and complete idiot. The macro group that contains the group isn’t enabled.

As I mentioned before, it would be nice if we had a different error message. But anyway, that was my problem.

Nice topic title you got there  The “never mind” part should be added to the available forum tags (never_mind)

As a careless poster I love that idea!

I suspect we have all made the mistake of trying to execute a macro, or macro in a group, that is disabled.

Actually, your post is a very valuable lesson for all of us.

Yes, I confess, I changed the topic title. It is against forum policy to abuse its members. LOL

LOL. I would have probably figured it out sooner, but Peter had been talking about a bug with duplicate UUIDs, so that’s where my mind went.
