Is there a way, with KM, to detect whether a vpn is active...?

Someone else may have a more robust idea, but this is all I could think of: Log your IP when the VPN is inactive, using this macro: VPN Check - Get My IP.kmmacros (20 KB)

If KM doesn't use this macOS trigger, then you may have to solve this by polling in KM. I should have deferred to that thread earlier, if I had known about it.
