Open web site, and check if tab already open

Hello,
Is it easy to create a macro to open a new web site tab in Chrome.
Would it be possible to have the macro first check if the web site is already open, and if so, go to that tab, and if not open the web site in a new tab?

Yes, just use the New Google Chrome Tab action.

Search for an AppleScript to do that, I am sure there would be one - there might even be one on this forum somewhere, I'm pretty sure I've seen a Safari one.
