Opening links in new Chrome tab

My default browser is Safari. But sometimes I want to open a link (most often received via email) in Chrome. In almost every case, I have Chrome already opened. When I execute the below macro the first time, it will open a brand new window of Chrome, and do nothing, rather than open a new tab of Chrome and go to the site via the link used in the macro.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Try putting a Pause 0.1 after the Activate action. If it works or not you could try fine tuning the pause duration.

There is a Safari extension named 'Bumpr' that adds a button to the toolbar. Upon clicking that, it will automatically launch/activate Chrome and open the current webpage you are viewing.
Also opens to mail and other goodies.
