When I use the keyboard to type option up arrow. it works fine. But when I try yo simulate an option up arrow with KM it does not move to the top of the list. It appears to ignore the option up arrow step.
Is this in a specific application?
Some applications may not properly respond to the simulated modifiers and instead look at the actual hardware modifiers. Also, so applications may be confused by the hardware modifiers. And some applications want to see the modifier on its own before the keystroke. So a couple things I would try would be:
Start the macro with Pause Until no modifiers pressed. Then the macro wont start until you release the control key that you are holding when you trigger it.
Replace the Type Option-Up Arrow with the sequence:
- Press and Hold Modifier Option
- Pause 1 second
- Type a Keystroke Option-Up Arrow
- Pause 1 second
- Release Modifier Option
Perhaps one or other of those might work.
