?? Why can’t I paste into this field??
I have two palettes that open with individual hot keys. Sometimes, neither palette will open. I have to quit the Keyboard Maestro Editor and the Engine and relaunch. I can find nothing that correlates with the problem—it happens regardless of what applications are running.
The palette settings are: available in all applications and all windows and are always activated…when a hot key is pressed.
I don’t use palettes, but I created two groups with two hotkeys that trigger macros in their respective macro groups. It works fine. If it works for me, then perhaps you are doing something different. If you show what you are doing, I might be able to help. Did you do what I did: i.e., did you create two macro groups with unique hotkeys, and do you have active macros in each respective group? It’s hard for me to theorize what you are doing differently from me.
Some extension perhaps? I have no trouble pasting.
Are these macro group palettes? How are you showing the palettes?
I have used my palettes for over a year without problems.They are group palettes triggered by the ‘insert’ key and the ‘camera’ key. The unpredictable failure of palettes to open started about two months ago. I would suspect a keyboard problem if the failures occurred every time. Could the problem be use of atypical keys to launch the palettes?
As I said above, if you show what you are doing, I might be able to help. Are you planning to show anything?
