Paste a PNG or JPEG image via hotkey?

Is there a simple way to paste a PNG or JPEG image via hotkey?

This of course would be a pre-saved image.

The easiest way I know of is:

• Open KM Preferences and click the Clipboards tab.
• Hit the + button at the bottom-left and double-click the newly created clipboard to rename it.
• Drag your image onto the content pane on the right.
• Create a macro with a hotkey trigger and a Paste from Named Clipboard action in it.
• Select the clipboard you just created in this action.

Triggering the macro will paste your image.
