Sometimes it is easier to show what one tries to create in KM visually rather than to explain it with words.
There is of course the option to link directly to a video in this forum, but what would have been neat is to allow playback while the reader are still in the forum (if possible).

Nope. Video files are too large to be supported by most forum software.
I think if you just post a link to a YouTube video it will play on the forum page, unless the user clicks on open in Youtube. Try it.
OTOH, if you have a short sequence, you can save it as an animated GIF, and you can upload that directly to the forum.
I did not mean to upload the whole file. Just to play it inside the forum if possible not having to go to Youtube or Facebook
