Problem updating from Keyboard Maestro 10.1.1 to 10.2

I'm having a problem getting Keyboard Maestro 10.1.1 to update to 10.2 on my Mac Studio running Monterey 12.5.1

Here's what happens:

  1. I get a Keyboard Maestro window stating version 10.2 is available.
  2. I click to install upgrade and a progress bar shows the download almost completes, then a pop up says "Keyboard Maestro Engine is trying install a new helper tool. Enter password to allow this".
  3. I enter my Mac password and click Install Helper, then the download and install helper windows disappear and no update is applied.

I've managed to install the update on my MacBook Pro running Big Sur 10.6.8. The problem is the sync file isn't working because of the different Keyboard Maestro versions.

Anyone got an idea how to fix this?

I still haven't resolved this problem. I've sent two emails to support@stairways.com, the last one 6 days ago but had no reply. Anyone know if this is the correct email address for this sort of issue?

That's the right email link. Why don't you just download a fresh copy of Keyboard Maestro and install it on the Mac Studio?

Thanks, that fixed it.
