Problem with the new version of KM (11.0.4)

since i updated KM 11.0.4 my macros don't work anymore.

Do you have the same problem?

I'm using mac os 15.5

I don't have any problems with 11.0.4.

One thing to do is check the KM Engine log to see if the macros are triggering. My guess is that they are not triggering. Sorry to ask, but did you turn the Engine back on again? Do you see the KM icon in your system bar at the top of the screen?

Another thing you could try is in the KM Editor Help menu, there's a feature called Interactive Help. Try that.

Yes, that would be the problem. Your macros are not running because your KM Engine is not running. Try starting the Engine manually using the KM Editor's File / Launch Engine menu item.

I see you are showing the Editor.log file. That's not the only place to look. You should also be looking at the Engine's log file.

I find it easiest to use Activities Monitor to check the status running apps/processes

I contacted the KM team directly to report the problem.

According to the exchanges I've had with them (Peter N Lewis), the problem is as follows:
Your System Preferences, Login Items Open at Login list is corrupt, or has a corrupt entry in it.
Resolving that will resolve the problem.

What I find strange is that I've reinstalled KM version 11.0.3 and I have no problems at all. everything works just fine!
