Problem with trigger

This is a simple test with the trigger set for xxx\ If I use the run command it works but it will not trigger using the xxx\ I have tried other like ccc\ etc but they will not work either.

It seems that any new macro I create will not trigger? My old ones work fine.

macOS 13.7.1 (22H221)

Thanks for any suggestions. I has to be something with my fat fingers.

No - I think it's your eyes!

Do you see that following any character setting in your trigger? That means you need to type xxx\ after something else for it to trigger. So, for example, zxxx\ should work.

If that's not the behaviour you want then you need to change that setting.

Not at my Mac at the moment so I hope this is all correct :crossed_fingers:

Thanks my eyes are not so hot either so maybe the problem is between my ears....

I tried zxxx\ and it dose not work. I also have a lot of other macro's that work this way and I don't have to have typed anything just before?

I have a macro dp\ it has the same following any character and it works - (Date posted to database 7 November, 2024)

I think I will reinstall the software.

It was worth a shot...

How about the macro group that the macro is in - is it enabled?

Thanks that was the problem...
