Put variable in custom clipboard and paste them later

Hi

I’d like KM to prompt me to enter values in custom clipboards that I’ve just created in the preferences menu. Once the values are in the custom clipboards, I can then go to any document and choose the values I want to paste. And if I enter a new value to one of the custom clipboards, it’ll override the old one.

Could someone please tell me how to do this.

Thanks @ccstone This works great.

Once the values are in the custom variable, I can use shift-command-v/ c/ x to paste, copy and cut from clipboard.
