I would like to give a default color to a specific action (for example: let’s say comments will always be green as a default, until I decide to change it).
Is there a way to do that?
One way to do it is to set up a Named Clipboard with the colored action in it. Then create a macro that when triggered, pastes the contents of the named clipboard.
Thanks for the prompt response, Dan! Appreciate it!
Not sure I know how to do it. I will try and post again how it went.
Here’s a tutorial I just created:
Hi Dan.
First let me copy and paste something I already posted in another post today:
Let me thank you “properly” (in a matter of fact you and all many others who are willing to devote their time and knowledge, so “ignorant” people like me will be able to reach somewhen a higher level of understanding and working w/KM). So, thanks a lot! I really appreciate your (and as said all others) help!
I tried to watch the video you did. I will have to work on it tomorrow, until I understand it and then I will post back here and I apologize in advance if it will take me some days.
Thanks again, Saul
Not sure what you're apologizing about, but no worries. And thanks for the kind words!
Hello again Dan.
Learned, tried, implemented. It works!
Thanks a lot for explaining that in a way I was able to understand!
I also widened a bit my understanding in managing clipboards (a notion still very “blur” to me) and that, for me is GREAT!
So, thanks a lot and hope you have a good rest of the day!
Saul

You’re quite welcome. I have a confession to make. While I did understand the concept of named clipboards, and had even used one, I learned a lot myself about them through your topic. So you helped me, also!
