Reassign Cmd+Right/Left Arrow to start of next/previous word

Hi everyone, and HNY

In Mac Word, I'd like to use Cmd-left/right arrow instead of Option-left/right arrow to move to the next/previous word. However, that combination is already used for jump to beginning/end of the current line. Is it possible to override that?

OK, so I went ahead and downloaded the trial version and created the hotkey macro below for going to the previous word. It doesn't work though, so I'm wondering if I made a mistake somewhere, or if the default binding can't be overridden.

Works here. both left and right one

Make sure to add it inside the Global Macro Group folder

Thanks for the confirmation. Just moved it to the Global folder, and no change. Guess there's a clash with something else.

The KM Debugger shows it working, so I guess I'm on the right track.

any app in particular? I tried in this Safari window

Although I only need this hotkey in Mac Word, I tried it in Safari and Chrome too and got the same result.

Like I said, the Debugger recognizes the hotkey, but for some reason it appears to be blocked by something. I'll keep poking around and see what happens.
