@peternlewis, could you please install the DokuWiki Wrap Plugin.

It offer a lot of features, but the one I need it for now is to allow bullet lists in a table cell.

Done.

It seems like the plug in can do an awful lot, but I would suggest restraint on its use. Eventually I will probably want to change to some other wiki software, and a heavy dependence on this could make that a lot more difficult. Also, overuse of this could easily become very noisy.
