When I execute the following macro in google keep, the window flickers but it does not hide:
I'm pretty sure the menu name is correct because when I try it with "quit google keep..." the macro executes correctly and google keep quits.

Any help would be appreciated.
I don't know why it would fail, but is there some reason not to just use Type a Keystroke action with ⌘H ?

For some reason, the macro also has to be executable in google chrome or the type a keystroke action doesn't work in google keep. This kind of defeats the purpose because then the short cut does something unintended in chrome.

Is Google Keep some sort of Google Chrome app that has the same bundle ID but a different name/path?
You can adjust how applications are matched in the application selection popup menus.

This is the solution that worked for me.
