Any way the linked macro to select sentences in Pages can work in all applications on Mac?

I think it needs to be done on a app-by-app basis

Have you tried making it work for other apps?
As I stated in the Macro post:

I don't see anything that is specific to Pages.app other than:

The other limitation is that the app must support use of the common macOS Find pasteboard.

See if you can make it work yourself. You may need some trial-and-error, just like all of us. If you really get stuck, post your macro (even if it is not working) using the upload your macro process (upload both image and file), and tell us specifically what is wrong with it.
