Is there a way to show a specific file in finder?
If a new file is put in my Download-folder I want Finder in front with the new file selected.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks a lot
I think this macro from Gglick will do what you want:

Thanks, but I don't want to OPEN the file, I just want it to be selected/highlighted in Finder.
I am just searching for a way to show file connected with the files path in finder.
Instead of the Open File Action, use the Reveal File Action:

It is easy to find. Press ⌘⌃A to show the "Insert Action by Name" prompt.
enter "reveal"
that's right, I'm not a native speaker, so I didn't know the word ans tried "show" in finder. Now I will never forget
