Does anyone know of a way to make a macro bring Skype to the front every time a new message is received?
I issue is that there is a bug that is preventing it from making sound notifications when a new message is received. I'm searching for a way to make Keyboard Maestro act as a workaround for this issue.
I don’t think this is possible. There’s no way for Keyboard Maestro to know when Skype has received a message.
I suppose that Skype could have some sort of an AppleScript trigger that runs when a new message is received, but as far as I know, it does not.
Without something like that, there’s nothing for Keyboard Maestro to ‘trigger’ from.
