Slow keystroke simulation

I have two computers that share some text expansion macros and recently, one of my computers is behaving strangely in that the keystroke speed is painfully slow. I usually use “insert text by pasting” so it wouldn’t be such a big deal if it weren’t for the “simulate deletes”.

Any idea what could be happening? I’ve tried messing with setting the keystroke delays, but this hasn’t had any noticeable effect.

My guess is you have used the Set Action Delay action to set the typing delay to something quite slow for all macros, which is definitely not a good idea.

Create a macro, add the action, and configure it to rest the delay for normal typing for all macros and Try it once and see if that resolves your issue.
