“Smart Copy” Macro [SOLVED]

What I am trying to do is to be able to position the cursor anywhere in a unit of text, and press a key and highlight and copy the entire unit of text to the clipboard. The problem is that if the cursor is at the start of the text, then it jumps back to the previous unit of text.

If you mean "paragraph" by "unit of text", then this should work:

If by "sentence" you mean paragraph (defined by line breaks), then these standard macOS shortcuts should work.

To select the entire paragraph when the cursor is at any position in the paragraph, you can use these keystrokes:

• → -- make sure cursor is NOT at start of paragraph
• ⌥↑ -- move to start of paragraph
• ⇧⌥↓ -- select entire paragraph

Put each of those in a KM Type a Keystroke action.
