[SOLVED - by turning it off and on again] Stream Deck show Alert action does nothing

Hi, I'm trying to set up my stream deck to work with my Mac.
First task: make sure the Stream Deck Actions actually do something.

I'm managed to change the title and icon of a button using Stream Deck Set Image and Stream Deck Set Title. Thus I know I'm properly addressing the deck buttons.
However Stream Deck Show Alert and Stream Deck Show OK do nothing.

I'm wondering if it's a permission issue, or a setup I haven't seen.

Ok, this is annoying, but after restarting KM and the Stream Deck configuration app, everything works.
