I apologize in advance for posting a general automation question that may relate only tangentially to KM.
My goal is to prevent Mission Control from automatically changing spaces, ever, under any circumstances. System Settings > Desktop & Dock: Mission Control - When Switching… is only partly effective.
I hate it when I change applications and Mission Control switches me to another desktop. It's never, ever what I want, and so far, all my attempts to stop it using KM, WhichSpace, BetterTouchTool, AppleScript, and shell scripts have come to naught.
It may well be impossible, but then again, there are some very smart people hanging out here.
