I have a Macro that activates a context menu by right-clicking the image. The context menu (image below) contains a number of choices and the one I want is "Unlink" and I achieve this by "insert text by typing".
The macro has been working well for several years, including with Golden Gate. However I recently upgraded to the new "super Siri beta" which attaches a siri symbol and "ask siri" to every context menu (Siri says I can't turn it off). This has broken the Macro. Somehow when the step "insert text by typing" executes, instead of inserting "Unlink" it only gets "link".
I have been able to make it work again by adding a 0.1 second pause after the right click and then typing "U", another 0.1 second pause and typing "n"
I presume this means that the Ask Siri is actually doing something in the background that slows down the Insert text response (manually on screen is fine). So I offer this as a "solution" to super Siri not playing well with context menus, but I wonder if anyone else has come across this phenomenon and/or has a more elegant solution.
