I am attempting to solve an accessibility issue with my music production software called Reaper for a blind user. Due to communication issues between the MIDI control surface (PreSonus FaderPort 8) and the software, some features are not working properly.
Using Keyboard Maestro, I can trigger a macro with the control surface and produce known MIDI values in to the software, however, the original packet sent can still be read by the music software, which could potentially result in signals getting crossed by producing multiple actions.
Is there any way to swallow the packet so only Keyboard Maestro is the only software to read the input?
