Toggle Application Palette (showing on/off)

Is there an easy way to toggle 'Show Applications Palette'. Trying to make a macro with a hot key for it without success. Use the status menu at the moment but a hot key would be easier.

There is no good way currently, except by UI control, either of the Keyboard Maestro status menu or of the Keyboard Maestro Preferences window. Alternatively, you could toggle the preference with defaults write and then relaunch the Keyboard Maestro Engine.

It is on the todo list.
