Here is my entry for the most minimal macro.
Usage: in a palette with macros numbered for ordering, you can add macros whose names consist only of space(s) and given them this macro's icon. Such macros will be invisible on the palette and act as a divider.
Transparent Icon.kmmacros (13 KB)
That's cool - I did the same thing, except I use dashes:
Never thought about uploading the icon, though. Good on ya!
Actually, the way I use this most often is to take it out to an external application as a starting point for creating an icon. True, the applications I use have transparency fill tools, so this isn't such a big deal, but sometimes those tools require several clicks to catch each enclosed area, e.g. the inside and outside of the character 'e'. It is easier to start with a transparent blank square. So, I keep this someplace very convenient on my computer.
How are your icon backgrounds not showing up on your palette? Did you use an external tool to match their background to the color you used for the palette? Did you use an external tool to make the icon backgrounds transparent? Something else? (Which tool?)
They’re PNGs with transparent backgrounds. Lots of tools can make them. I use GIMP, which is free, but GIMP doesn’t play well with the clipboard and KM, so I have to save it to a file and drag it into KM.
