I want all apps on my MBP to launch maximized when I start the. I haven't really been able to do this consistently. this is the macro I use
any better approaches to tackle this?

I would add a pause to wait for the front window of the front application to exist, and then maximize.
My guess is that the macro is happening so quickly it finishes before the window is fully "there" to receive it.
