Type password in vmWare console

I do mostly system administration and I often have to use the console of vmWare for various customers. The issue I'm trying to resolve is, typing the complex and long passwords into the windows or Linux console.

So I'm trying to paste the content of the clipboard as keystrokes.

Can that be done ?

If I'm understanding correctly, yes, the contents of the Clipboard can be inserted as typing by using the Insert Text by Typing Action and the Token %SystemClipboard%. This often works when fields will not accept pasted text.
