Typing a Key Combination with a Modifier

I want to type Shift + Cmd + 1 on my keyboard, but not sure how to do this with Keyboard Maestro.

I see there is a Simulate the Hardware Key action. So do I use that followed by Type a Keystroke?

Just include the modifiers when you set up the Type Keystroke action - it is one step:
