Understanding "for ... each"

Trying to adapt a working KM macro that moves DEVONthink documents to groups based on a regex pattern.

Now I want to have the macro work on a selection of DEVONthink documents ... but can't seem to figure out For ... Each in that context.

Any guidance appreciated ...

To make that context clear enough to recruit guidance, you would need, I think, to

  • post at least a part of the macro you are writing
  • give us an example of your inputs (a screenshot of what you are selecting, for example),
  • and show us what you are aiming to produce. (for example a sample of target folder names, with files moved to them)

Showing inputs and (desired) outputs is always the fastest route to help.
