Use CommandR in a macro

I’ve only been using this for 3 days and I cannot believe the time it is saving me. I need a Macro to issue the “Command-R” combination, but this turns on recording. How do I do this?

Hey William,

Tell your friends – tell your neighbors – shout it to the rooftops!

Cmd-R only turns on recording in Keyboard Maestro.

At the point where you assign a keyboard shortcut in a trigger Keyboard Maestro is blind to the keystroke (so to speak), so the keystroke itself can be recorded in the hotkey field.

So – for us to help – you need to be more specific about what your doing and what application you're doing it in.

Don’t know what I was doing wrong. Worked today using the “Type a keystroke”

Thanks
