What is the difference between system clipboard and default clipboard, and why?
How does Keyboard Maestro use them?
The system clipboard is the system clipboard - the one the system uses.
There are also Named Clipboards, which are stored clipboard entries. A default one named Default Clipboard is typically created by Keyboard Maestro, but it has no specialness other than being created by default.
