My iMac recently died. I extracted the hard drive and and have it mounted in my new computer via a bare drive dock. How do I transfer the macros created on the drive from the old computer to my new computer?
While Keyboard Maestro and Keyboard Maestro Engine are not running, restore the ~/Library/Application Support/Keyboard Maestro folder, and perhaps the ~/Library/Preferences/com.stairways.keyboardmaestro.* files.
Ensure the ownership and permissions of the restored files and folders is correct or you’ll run in to troubles.
Strangely, neither of these two directories appear in the Library/Application Support/ on the drive I pulled from the old computer nor the new computer. I am running MacOS Sierra. Beautiful ticketing system by the way.
I was able to manually retrieve the files you recommended from a Time Machine backup. Thanks for your help.
