Wiki seems unresponsive

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the Wiki seems completely unresponsive and unfortunately the PDF does not seem to contain everything? - For e.g. a search for SCREENINDEX doesn’t come up with anything

Hadn't tested any links, and I'm seeing blank pages like it sounds like you're seeing. Hopefully, @peternlewis can explain/resolve this.

Luckily, I just found my solution on the forum, but it’s a hassle if the doc site is giving issues

Something went wonky with the wiki server over the last 24 hours. I'm not sure if it was an external attack or just a server going nuts, but the name server for some reason exploded its log, which filled up the disk, and after the disk was filled up, the wiki started having troubles.

That resulted in a bunch of cache files getting munged which meant a bunch of pages were showing up as blank.

I've resolved the issue with the runaway process (though if it was an attack the issue may return), and cleared the wiki cache which seems to have restored the blank pages.

So hopefully it is all working properly again.

Sorry for the inconvenience. This is, thankfully, a very rare event, the wiki generally has been very solid.

Thanks. I truly appreciate it. Ever since I started using KM I’ve relied on that Wiki :slight_smile:

As you should. I can't think of any other application on the Mac that has the help so deeply integrated in to it across so many aspects. I'm sure there are some, but none that I can think of.
