  1. Rewrote intro to provide a better clear definition and use, particularly for those users with limited programming experience.

Looks good. I deleted the line after the intro section because I delete all those lines, but other than that it looks good.

Probably it could be expanded further to describe what variables are (ie, plain text).

Well, it could be the entire page, but it is supposed to be just an intro. I was a bit concerned it is already too long, but since it fits nicely in the same vertical space as the TOC block, it seems to work well.

Personally, I would not want to make it longer. I tried to hit the highlights, the most commonly used stuff, so that maybe it would be all some users need.

So you don't like lines in the sand, huh? Too much structure for you?
