Working on getting Title to change

I got the macro to return back replaced one incident. But it replaced the ?Title with blank and not the Local_Title variable entry?
I don't understand any of this. Did you mean to post a macro?

Sorry kevin. I tried to post the macro and it started a new topic. I want the macro in the on going post. What I am trying to do is have Keyboard Maestro replicate what I am able to do manually. That is Command A - Select all then Command option F to find and replace then put in the ?Title that is in my outline template. Then do 3 tabs to get to the replace line have it type in what is in the Local_Title variable and then hit enter to make the change. It worked except the information in the Local_Title variable didn't replace the ?Title place holder. It was just left blank. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, I trying to get the macro going in both word processors. Between teaching at the University and other things hard to get time to work all of this out.

There does seem to be an interface problem of some kind. @Macmike, may I suggest that you first pick under which topic you want this all discussed? Perhaps initially discuss it with one of the Forum Leaders to avoid any further confusion (I have flagged with them that their assistance may be needed). Then we can all focus on helping you with your question in one coherent conversation.
