For now, It seems one could Show Macro Group Palette or regular Show Palette Action displayed in two ways:
- in a random position, then one could manually drag it to a preferred position, then next time this Macro Group Palette will display in the same position on the same Display
- place under mouse (this is achieved by check option in Macro Group customzing panel)
Although quite frequently, users might wish these macro group palette could display in other ways and in smarter ways, such as
- in Front Window's Display
- in Mouse hovered Display
- in relative to Found Image position
- next to top/bottom/left/right side of targeted Input Control, say a Button, an Input Box, a Dialog with certain Title... etc (this feature would allow building a Default Folder X like GUI, wherever a Open Dialog appears, a Keyboard Maestro based GUI would auto appear along with it, to the top side, the bottom side, left side, or right side etc...)
- in specified coordinates (x,y)
- in Centered position of Display
- maybe some other neat position
If these options could be implemented in Macro Group editing panel or Show Palette related Actions, users could build much more powerful & smart Palette system to enhance many mainstream software's native interaction workflow & native capability!
Actually some of the options above is already implemented in some actions say Window manipulating, so I guess it is relatively easy to bring them to Macro Group customizing panel or Show Palette related Action GUI too?
p.s. if the feature I requested above could be achieved somehow otherwise, please enlighten me.
